Universal Studios Florida

The day before we flew home, we went to Universal Studios! We mostly went because of the Harry Potter part, but all of it was fun! We had to get up extra early to get there, because it was a two hour drive, and we were there like a half hour before the park opened. I was so excited to go to Harry Potter! It was like Christmas morning. Our plan was to go there first, because everyone we have talked to said that it gets really busy. So as soon as we got in- (we were the first in our line) we booked it to the Harry Potter Castle ride. Don't worry I was running, but couldn't run too fast because Justin wouldn't run. But to his credit he was walking fast for me!
Yep, we were like the sixth car there in the parking lot. :)

Surfin photo op!

About to go inside!

We were worried, because the park closed early (at 6pm) but we ended up having plenty of time to see and do all that we wanted that day. The longest we waited in line was maybe 30 mins.

The castle was really cool, and had a lot of fun things to look at while you are in line. Since we didn't have to wait in line long, I just snapped a couple photos here and there. Trust me it was way cooler than the pictures look!

This is the sorting hat. It even talked!

Some of the paintings talked too. Some things I didn't get pictures of were the Guardian portrait of the Gryffindor common room (the fat lady), the points for each house with the sand to tell which house was winning, Dumbledore's office, and much more! It was really fun to see and made me want to reread all of the books.
These robes were way too expensive, but it was fun to try them on! I think we look like we would fit in don't you? We did buy magic wands while we were there. I think I see a Halloween costume in our futures :)

The Castle and Hogsmeade looked so cool! And the Butter Beer was fantastic!

We even got to meet the train conductor for the Hogwarts Express!

And don't worry, we respected the Spell limits!

We got to meet some Seuss Characters, and Even Betty Boop! She wanted Justin to call her :)

Dr. Doom tried to look intimidating but the truth is, Justin was bigger than he was.

We had so much fun on this trip!  But it was nice to fly over the mountains the next morning and see home.

I am so impressed how caught up on the blog! Nice going! Again, it was so great to see you! Hope our hard floors didn't give you a back ache! Next time you stay with us, we will have better accommodations, deal? Hope you were able to catch up on your lack of sleep that last night here!
