The first weekend of August is always Alumni weekend at Camp Loll. Now that we are alumni, and not staff members, we definitely wanted to take advantage of the visit up to our old stomping grounds! We planned the road trip with our good friends the Taylors. DeAnn used to work up at Loll too! The Taylors drove and we had the best drive simply because Cortney is the best DJ ever. I think my favorite part of the drive was Justin bustin' out some Cranberry lyrics...So great!

I must be missing a ton of pictures because I can't find much of the actual activities we did at camp, but we had tons of fun! Justin, Russell, DeAnn and I took and passed the swim check and played in Lake of the Woods. We camped out at Yukatat with the Tayor's and Stevens. One night we built a bonfire and talked into the wee hours. We even took a trip to Lost Falls. It was fun to be able to enjoy the facilites and climp up at weather rock etc. Thanks Camp Loll Staff for working so hard on a weekend for us! So fun! We took the long way home so that we could stop and see Star Valley where DeAnn's Dad is from. It was a beautiful drive, and even though it took us a lot longer to get home, it was worth it.

We stopped in Soda Springs to taste the water... pretty gross actually, but a good time. While we were there we saw a "volcano" on the hillside. Pretty sure it was a refinery, but still cool to watch none the less.
